In February 2018, we lost our dear friend, Annie Southworth, to breast cancer at 48. A beloved music promoter and advocate for the Bay Area’s underground scene, Annie’s passing left a deep mark on San Francisco.

To honor her legacy, Team “I Heart Annie” created a permanent tribute—a neon collage, I HEART ANNIE, made from repurposed gig posters of the artists she supported. This piece celebrates 20 years of San Francisco’s music and art culture, inspiring continued support for local artists and venues.

The artwork will be auctioned, with all proceeds benefiting healthcare for those in need at ZSFG General Hospital.
